Your practical questions
Who can use the free validator?
The public workflow requires no account or email address. It analyses the supplied file and does not grant access to a client workspace.
Which file is supported?
A non-empty DORA010100 xBRL-CSV ZIP of at most 20 MB. Preserve its official name, required files and folder structure. The free validator does not directly convert Excel workbooks.
Which checks are performed?
The engine examines package structure, files and columns, then formats, fields and relationships covered by executed rules. The report exposes findings and scope. Coverage remains partial.
Can it establish actual register completeness?
It can detect some omissions, inconsistent fields and missing relationships from the ZIP. It cannot identify a provider or contract entirely omitted from the file. That requires a reference inventory outside the ZIP.
What does the local score mean?
It describes the proportion of measured checks that passed. A 100% score does not mean the entity’s entire compliance has been verified or that every external rule was executed.
How do errors differ from warnings?
An error reports an issue detected by an executed rule. A warning requires review. Where available, details locate the table, column and CSV line to return to source data.
Is the file added to a client register?
No. Temporary analysis is separate from client application data and sessions. The file is not added to a saved register. The privacy page describes the current local preview.
What should we do after checking?
Download the report, correct information in your source tool and generate a new ZIP. Analysis does not edit the file for you. eDesk submission and feedback review remain the entity’s responsibility.
Scope of the check
ZIP contents only. Real-world completeness and CSSF acceptance are not verified. Rules requiring context absent from the ZIP are out of scope. External verification is not executed. Coverage remains partial.
